Overall Purpose of the Role - Business Development Manager
This position is responsible for driving business growth by generating new sales opportunities and strengthening customer relationships in a professional, customer-focused, and results-oriented manner. Key objectives include:

Proactively acquiring new clients across ocean, air, and customs brokerage services.

Building and maintaining long-term relationships with both new and existing customers to identify and develop new opportunities.

Expanding revenue and shipment volumes to support economies of scale and service reliability.

Collaborating with the wider global network to grow volumes in strategic trade lanes and industry verticals, in line with business sales objectives.

Supporting global account development initiatives.

Representing the organization in alignment with its core values of customer focus, teamwork, progress, accountability, and integrity.
Business Development Manager - Key Duties & Responsibilities

Expand the company’s ocean and air freight services in alignment with overall sales strategy.

Act as the primary sales contact for assigned customers.

Identify, develop, and qualify leads, converting them into active business opportunities.

Maintain and manage a sales pipeline to meet agreed growth targets.

Build and strengthen customer relationships through proactive engagement, calls, meetings, and deal closure.

Contribute to revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.

Represent the company at all organisational levels, including customer presentations and industry events.

Consistently update sales activities and customer information in the global CRM platform.
