The Opportunity
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and build long-term client relationships across a broad range of industries. With no territory restrictions, this role offers strong earning potential and the opportunity to play a key part in expanding the company’s commercial presence.
The position provides a high level of autonomy, working remotely and in the field meeting both prospective and existing clients. The successful individual will report into senior leadership, providing regular updates on activity, pipeline, and results.
Key Responsibilities

Drive new business development across air and sea freight services on a national level.

Consistently achieve strong sales performance and revenue growth against agreed targets.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients across multiple sectors.

Contribute to the growth of the commercial function and support wider business development initiatives.

Work closely with senior leadership, providing market insight and updates on sales activity and performance.
About the Candidate

A proven track record in freight forwarding sales and business development (air and/or sea freight).

Demonstrated ability to generate new business and deliver revenue growth against targets.

Strong commercial awareness with a focus on sustainable and profitable growth.

Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at multiple levels within client organisations.

Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with autonomy in a business development role.
